Welcome to Kerry Rand Photography. Photography was just a hobby for me until I found myself on a plane soon after the events of 9-11 occurred. About a half a mile up, from my plane window, I saw the most phenomenal site I'd ever seen in my life - an image of the Pentagon partially destroyed, one of its sides tragically missing. I grabbed my camera and captured what I knew was an unforgettable moment in America's history. And so, the photographer in me was born.
I've created this site to showcase my photos from my travels around the world and to display images of the great State of Texas. I am focused on presenting captivating visions of the natural world while walking down its beautiful paths. My landscapes are high-quality prints, showing vivid colors and stunning clarity. These works of art are signed, un-matted limited-editions (50 per print, regardless of size). The sharpness and luminance must be seen in person.
I strive to keep my final landscape photos as close to the original image I see in person as possible (with minor cropping, color-work and/or contrast work). I avoid altering my photographs of landscapes, preferring instead to show the unpredictability of nature as it is presented to me.
I also have a passion for photographing people. With a background in hairstyling and modeling, I feel as though I convey a unique perspective in the style of my photographs and the methods I use when working with people.
Please browse my collection at your leisure. Whether you're an avid collector looking for yourself, searching for the perfect gift, or just a lover of art, I have something for everyone. Prices are listed, but feel free to contact me for a consultation regarding framing or presentations.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy my work!
